Hopes among those who flee
Remain long term fantasies
A dream that pulls overload
Is a long time on the road
Happiness is playing the game:
"Living up to Expectations"
When you can't depend on a friend
You're fulfilling the means to an end
One by one like cattle we run
To the box with our number and name
Leaving all duties behind
Can be a good thing for my mind
Not preparing not repairing
Not moving things around
I'm laying my head on the ground.
Stay at home
It's raining cats and dogs
Early afternoon, television on
It's that movie with Nastassja Kinski
Stay in bed
It's raining cats and dogs
Contemplating away this lazy day
Where in the world is Nastassja Kinski?
Freedom rings with wedding bells
Said the priest to the groom as i walked in the room
I don't know what it means to be a good man in this day and age
Struggling on paths paved by others
Success persists one step ahead
All this nonsense of keeping up with you
Is far from what i want to do.
This is not the day to be hustling around town
It's the point at which i turn around
Stay in bed
It's raining cats and dogs
Early afternoon , alarm clock off
Blankets and pillows are soft
Stay in bed
It's raining cats and dogs
Contemplating away this lazy day
Where in the world is Nastassja Kinski?
